Toys... Eco-friendly

Interesting story and great website for those interested in being kind with the planet, whilst giving your children Toys to play with.... Check this out:  http://www.rosiehippo.com/t-whoweare.aspx Rosie Hippo was born of a deep love for inspiring children's imagination and creativity through a carefully hand-selected collection of natural, earth-friendly toys. For 15 years, our mission has been to provide the highest quality natural toys to inspire and delight your children. Rosie Hippo began in a quiet spot on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, started by a young couple who had a passion for making beautiful natural toys for their own children. Each toy was built with love as they grew their business based on strong core values. In 2008, inspired by my three-year-old son Ethan's delightful curiosity and my interest in child development, I purchased Rosie Hippo and I am thrilled to be the new owner! I am passionate about how children learn, grow and develop -- and about wha...

Organic Holiday Season's Gifts

Hello Fellow Followers, The Holiday Season is going to be here soon so I wanted to share some ideas to stay organic and healthy... Those are 2 websites I chose, but there are of course a bunch of information out there for you to pick from... and I'm soooo glad about that. Enjoy! http://www.bouldersbestorganics.com/   http://www.theultimategreenstore.com/default.aspx Some info from the above websites:  The vast majority of conventional products we buy, use and wear every day are manufactured in an unsustainable way. And, as it turns out, what is bad for the Planet is bad for us, too. We are exposing ourselves and our children to harmful Synthetic Chemicals in everything from cleaning products and personal care products to the chemicals used in manufacturing things like clothing, Bedding, Furniture, work bags, children's Toys and lunch boxes. There is, however, an eco-friendly alternative for just about everything! Organic farming  builds the ...

A Wise Doctor - Dave Carpenter

Have you ever noticed how the Universe seems to repeat itself over and over?  For example, there is over 146 Trillion TONS of water on the Earth which comprises roughly 70% of the Earth's surface.  The adult human body is also made up of approximately 70% water.  Our own blood very closely resembles ocean water and this "sea" inside of us transports everything necessary for our cells to live.  I am often amazed   at the many similarities between the planet we live ON and the bodies we live IN! I have been in the health and wellness field for over 20 years now and I'm   more convinced today more than ever that water is the foundation to good health.   By that I mean that for the body to work right it needs to be hydrated first and foremost!  I don't mean that other nutrients are not important but  that water is the foundation for good health and cellular efficiency.  Every single chemical reaction that takes place inside of yo...

No more Cleaning Chemicals, Detergent, etc....

I found this cool Japanese company thanks to a friend of mine and I was blown away by their Water Technology. I truly believe that the future for the environment is to eliminate chemicals and the first step is to eliminate them from your house.... How do we do that? Well this company called Enagic has invented a water machine that hooks up to the kitchen faucet and it can make 7 different types of water. It is actually a medical device, but the different pH waters that come out from it help also clean your house.  In brief, you can drink 4 different waters, and use all the other waters to clean the entire house, wash your laundry, water the plants, DISINFECT (wounds or things), take pesticides off your fruits and vegetables, hydrate your skin, etc...  When it comes to environment, you have to admit this is truly revolutionary. NO MORE CLEANING CHEMICALS, NO MORE LAUNDRY DETERGENT and NO MORE PLASTIC BOTTLES.... This machines combines it all to fight against environmenta...
According to ScienceDaily: Consumers Willing to Pay More for Locally Grown Apples, Vermont Study Shows ScienceDaily (Sep. 20, 2010)  — A 2008 study found that organic apples represented 4.6% of total apple sales in the United States, up from 3.5% in 2007. In Vermont, apples have been the most important fruit crop for many years, playing an important role in the state's economy -- so important, in fact, that apples were named the state's official fruit in 1999. Vermont apple growers, facing a host of challenges such as increasing production costs and intensifying competition from imported apples, are looking for ways to succeed in the emerging organic food market. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/09/100920173006.htm
